The First Day: What You Should Do

After surgery, your eyes will need time to adjust and begin healing. Here’s how to care for them right away:

Eye Drops — Your New Best Friend

Moxifloxacin + Fluorometholone (Moxifle / Fuluson): Apply every 2 hours on the day of surgery.

Artificial Tears: Use generously every 10–20 minutes to prevent dryness.

Optional drops like PRP, Healon, or S-PRP: Can be applied starting from the evening.

⏱️ Tip: Wait 1–2 minutes between each eye drop type so they absorb properly.

You don’t need to wake up at night to use eye drops. Just make sure to avoid napping for at least 5 hours after surgery.

From the Next Day Onward

Moxifloxacin + Fluorometholone: Apply 4 times a day until finished.

Artificial Tears: Keep using them for 3 to 6 months depending on dryness.

Optional drops (PRP / Healon / S-PRP): Follow the recommended schedule (usually 2–4 times a day).
